MOBILE/SMS TERMS OF SERVICE: (Text Messaging terms of use)

1. SMS Terms and Conditions Policy (Internal Use – Microsoft Teams SMS)

   Applies To: All employees of Kornerstone Living LLC using Microsoft Teams SMS for internal communications. The MS team sms service is not used for communications with customers!

   1. Purpose
   This policy governs the use of SMS messaging via Microsoft Teams for internal, person-to-person communication among staff. It ensures compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements while maintaining operational efficiency.

   2. Scope
   This policy applies exclusively to internal staff communications. No marketing, promotional, or bulk messaging is permitted under this policy.

   3. Consent and Opt-In
   Before participating in SMS communications via Microsoft Teams, employees are required to opt-in with HR by providing written approval. Once HR receives approval from staff, they may be opted in and given access to MS SMS. This complies with internal HR policy and employment agreements. The policy also states that employees are not to use personal SMS services for business communications, and MS Teams SMS will not be used to communicate with employees' personal SMS services.

   4. Message Content
   Messages must be:

   Professional and work-related.
   Free of promotional or marketing content.
   Sent only to known internal contacts.
   Examples.
   Dave should we set up a meeting to discuss the beta project?
   Mary - Please review the documentation emailed yesterday on the alpha design.

   5. Help and Support
   Reply HELP for assistance or Employees may contact IT Support sd@kornerstonecredit.com for assistance with SMS-related issues.

   6. Termination of Use
   Reply STOP to opt out of SMS service or Employees may opt out of SMS communications by notifying HR or IT in writing. Opt-out will not affect other forms of internal communication.

   7. Message Frequency
   Message frequency will vary as messages are conversational and initiated by employees for specific work-related purposes.
   
   8. Compliance
   All usage must comply with:

   Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
   Microsoft Teams SMS service terms
   Internal HR and compliance policies

   1. Data Collection
   We collect phone numbers and message metadata (timestamps, sender/recipient info) solely for operational and compliance purposes.

   2. Data Usage
   Message and data rates may apply.
   Collected data is used to:

   Facilitate internal communication.
   Monitor compliance with company policies.
   Support IT troubleshooting and audits.
   
   3. Data Sharing
   Mobile opt-in data will not be shared with third parties
   No data is shared externally. Internal access is restricted to authorized personnel in IT, HR, and Compliance.

   4. Security Measures
   All SMS data is encrypted and stored securely in accordance with our internal Kornerstone Compliance Governance Policy.

   5. Employee Rights
   Employees may request access to their SMS data or request deletion of non-essential records by contacting HR.

   6. Updates
   This policy may be updated periodically. Employees will be notified of any material changes.
